Regatta Results

by Rabbit
Another Annual Regatta done & dusted. Great fun for all. Pimlico race was the usual magical mystery tour, winds light & swinging.
An overnight strong Southerly kept dropping thru Sunday, to give good fleet racing conditions.

Racing Sunday 180916

by Rabbit
Gusty Nor Wester, big run out tide. Started down at the Ferry, after a delayed Start, waiting for wind, & the fleet battling against the tide to get there. Wind ended up quite gusty, with the odd swim, & 550's showing some keel. Spinnaker reaches ended up quite tight, & shy spi skills tested..
It was a PHS day & Div. Winners were MG Brendan, N4.5 Tango Norm, 550 Shades, 59er Fling Mark & Juliemore

Full Results on Facebook. Sunny Spring day, but the wind stayed stubbornly due South across the river - 1 tack jack & shy shy spinnaker runs.
Experimental courses either reinforced ideas on existing courses, or made us think of variations, including maybe a Start Line at the Cat Mark?more

Duty Roster Now Posted

by Duncan
Duty Roster is now separate from the Calendar, as it changes as people rearrange their rostered day. Duncan is the man ..he will help you change a date, or add a helper if you are a single handed sailor. Otherwise, the roster assumes a skipper & crew will front up, to do their bit on the day. Worse thing you can do is be a no-show ... pretty bad.. who ya gunna call ... Duncan ..more
